In my unwillingness to spend over $100 on boots (I've already gone that route - twice), I went in search of an alternative that would look great and still be comfy like the expensive ones (some cheaper brands feel like you are walking on asphault). After reading many many reviews on several similar and similarly priced boots, I chose these. Not only are they comfy, they look great and my daughter has actually gotten compliments from strangers about how nice they look. I will continue to buy these boots for myself and my daughter for as long as they make them. Great job, BEARPAW!!!

BEARPAW Women's Emma Short Boot

I have been looking for shearling boots for some time. I didn't want to spend the astronomical price for UGGs. I took a chance and ordered the Bearpaw's. I love these boots. I got them yesterday and I basically haven't taken them off. I am wearing them with no socks and my feet haven't gotten sweaty or too hot at all, but stay nice and cozy. They are really soft and comfortable and they are true to size. I wear an 8 and 8's fit great. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have these boots in the hickory/champagne color and I love them. They kind of feel like you're wearing a house slippers, which is awsome if you're going for a simple casual look. I did not feel that they ran small, a little snug, but they shape to your foot as you wear them. Some of my fur came out of the inside too, but it was along the inner seam. I imagine this is common and from the way it was trimmed and stitched together. My guess is that this will stop as the wear evens things out. Still a good boot for the money and I totally want them in solid black now.

Steve Madden Women's Banddit Boot

These shoes are SO CUTE. Really, really awesome, they look especially good with skinny jeans. The tongue is floppy but if you don't like that, you can just pull on the strap to tighten the top (you may need to punch more holes in the strap - i wanted them tighter so I did). And the best part is that they are really comfortable. Quite a few of the reviews on Amazon suggest that the shoes run small. I wear a 6.5 - that's my actual shoe size, not what I wish I wore - and upon reading the reviews ordered a 7. They are HUGE! I had to exchange them. I just got the 6.5s in the mail and they fit perfectly everywhere. So I'd suggest ordering true to size but just being honest with yourself about what size your feet are. Anyway, these shoes are a win and definitely worth the money.
